You might have to check their web site (which I think they have) or
your local listings for straight jazz stuff. It's usually on after
the video show "Midnight Love". So for me it would be on at around 1
am. They play some pretty phat stuff on there from some cats that
have been around doing lots of tours and other sorts of gigs.
However, don't even bother to watch BET on Sundays. It's infomercial
central and like most cable channels after a certain hour infomercial
will run. If you get in the groove of when things come on, it's worth
the hassle.

Alright. I've been lucky enough to score some new channels, and BET is
one of them. I've heard some talk about this station on another mailing
list, but I don't know any of the programs to look out for.
Does anyone out there know of any good programs on BET that plays acid
jazz- or even straight jazz? It seems every time I tune into it,
they've got infomercials. Ah well.
