Well, sorry to bother everyone twice on this subject but a berimbau is a kind
of one stringed guitar, according to my friend. I believe that it's probably
the instrument that is used in the martial art/dance style capoeira...

Isn't berimbau a style of Brazilian music, like Bossa Nova or something? Or
maybe it's an instrument or a dance? I've heard the reference a countless
number of times in Latin/Brazilian music.
