I just bought some records and though to share my opinions.

MC Solaar: Paradisiaque (Polydor)

I've been anticipating quite much to get this, but now it feels a bit of a
letdown. I mean, it's not bad or nothing but at least hasn't yet satisfied
me the way Prose Combat does. I hope it grows on slowly or sumpthin'.

Peanut Butter Wolf: Run The Line (Stones Throw)

Somehow I presumed that PBW would be like instrumental hip hop a la
Underdog and such, and this didn't strike me as heavily as it could have,
but it's good still. I can't decide which side is better, tho'.

Kruder & Dorfmeister: G-Stoned (G-Stone)

You all know this. I'm in my 7th heaven to finally get this on vinyl.

Akhenaton: J'ai pas de face (DeLabel)

French hip hop, and very good. I heard there's a long player out by the
same artist. Do you know any more?

The Roots: Organix (Remedy)

This one I bought because of the recommendations from the list. Yesterday
when I was listening to this I though "wow, actually, rap is as suitable to
jazz as piano or bass or saxophone". And not just jazz, I mean, this one
truly rocks the block in every possible manner. By the way, who is the
female MC in The Session?

Midfield General: Devil In Sports Casual (Skint)

O h s h i t . Like, I mean, what can you say about a record like this?
This is da bomb. This is energy purified. This is
Prodigy to the nth
degree. This feels like a revolution to me. I have heard next to none Skint
releases before this and, well, shit, I'm speechless. Every goddamn head
should be heading out to get this like now. I'm raving about this and with
a good reason (for once).
