NEW ARTISTS, LABELS AND TITLES...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome winners of 1997's Mercury Prize! Roni Size and DJ Krust's Full Cycle
label are on board with CDuctive. The first installment of Full Cycle
releases is now available, featuring classic tracks by Size, Krust, DJ Die,
Scorpio, and Bill Riley.
If that weren't enough for drum 'n' bass fanatics, legendary label Reinforced
Records is also available now. That means releases from heavyweights such as
Goldie, 4 Hero, Grooverider, Doc Scott, L Double, Rufige Crew, Nookie and many more.
Two brand new releases from Crammed Disc's London-based Language Records are
now available. Check out the tracks from Buckfunk 3000's "First Class Ticket
to Telos", which is receiving plenty of critical acclaim. Melody Maker calls
it "Classic. Nothing else matters this week," and Muzik affirms "This is
multi-sonic Si Begg at his very best... superb stuff".
The second release, "Internal Clock", comes from Circadian Rhythms. Melody
Maker attests that "Circadian Rhythms carry digital jazz to a different plane".
CDuctive also welcomes NINEBARecords, which brings choice cuts ranging from
jazzy grooves and trip-hop to techno and drum 'n' bass. Artists include Amon
Tobin's previous incarnation, Cujo, as well as Jake Slazenger, Resonator, and
Scanner, among others.
Much of Eye Q's classic trance catalog is now ready. Look for seminal trance
cuts from the likes of Brainchild, Cygnus X, Icon and more.
On the lounge tip, check out our new Lounge section featuring the seductive
sounds of Tipsy, from Asphodel. Or the new release by Montefiori on IRMA that
Thousand Words magazine notes "could be the feelgood album of the year".
And for those into more minimal or experimental sounds, look for releases from
burgeoning Los Angeles-based label, Plug Research.
COMING SOON...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
More releases from Full Cycle and its sister imprint, Dope Dragon. Releases
previously available only on vinyl from the entire Roni Size crew will be
available on custom CD next month.

San Francisco's Ubiquity Recordings, which has a near cult-like following
among jazz heads, has provided us with an excellent cross-section of their
catalog. Releases from Greyboy, Bugs, Better Daze, Spirit Level, Badmarsh,
Slide Five, DJs Wally & Swingsett, and many more are on their way.

Exclusive, unreleased tracks from Aphrodite and Mickey Finn have been
licensed. Excellent tracks that have never been heard outside the clubs where
Aphrodite and Mickey played them will be available for purchase only at
CDuctive. Also, look for releases from Leeds-based Flex Records, home of L Double.

Brand new releases from existing labels on the CDuctive site will be up next
month. Look for more tracks from Pussyfoot, Ninja Tune, Moving Shadow,
Derailed, and Plastic City.

And much more house music from some of the world's finest house labels... to
be revealed in the next issue...
