*Hmmmm. I've yet to know of an artist that HASN'T had a bad review or
two. But wouldn't the UK (no offense)reviewers be a bit biased since, in
your latter comment, you mention how celebrities are treated in the UK?
All I can say is I saw them last October--after they had already been
touring nonstop for almost a year and a half and, musically, they were
very tight.

* I concur. Its a no win situation. If he stuck to the save-the-planet-
save-our-brothers-be-righteous-and-kind route, folks would still be
complaining. They would say that all this conciousness was old and played
out. Do something new. I know it's a different genre but didn't that
happen with Pearljam? They were severely criticised as being overly
sensitive for "being all about the music".......damned if you do and
damned if you don't. I say, if you're gonna be damned, then go ahead and
make a little cash while you're at it.

Want my opinion? The artist stays true to his/her art, well
