I hear ya loud and clear. But Ninja isn't dead yet. Coldcut's smokin still. And Herbaliser's still there. And Kid Koala is the scratcher of scratchers.

Ben Harper kicks on all levels. Especially his latest (The Will to Live which is on my deck), though all three are honest efforts.

What about Portishead, huh? They still have it. Portishead drops tempo. Yeah, ok, so maybe it's a bit spy-ish, but they're taking it in a new direction. It's still with the triphop/acid program.
