** Label of Month - PARTISAN RECORDINGS
Though less than a year old, Partisan Recordings should require little introduction to drum 'n' bass headz. With seventeen 12" releases and four critically acclaimed full-length albums thus far, Partisan has quickly made a name for itself in the electronic music community. The label was formed by the team of rebels who "left the drum 'n' bass drama of Moving Shadow behind last autumn amid much argy bargy." Armed with plenty of talent and experience, the crew are hardly new kids on the block. Artists include DJ Addiction, Justice, Foul Play, Total Science, and Deep Blue, whose "Helicopter Tune" on Moving Shadow remains one of jungle's most revered anthems.

As the charming and delightful label manager Carolin Butler tells us, "the name Partisan was not chosen lightly - it had to be something that encapsulated the struggle, the fact that reputations and livelihoods were put on the line to bring it into being." Diversity and integrity have defined Partisan's releases to date. Urb Magazine, which currently crowns it the "Label to Watch" predicts that "Partisan is poised to become one of the key labels in the growth and evolution of drum 'n' bass music."

** Exclusive Pre-Releases - NINJA TUNE
We're pleased to bring you another set of exclusive pre-releases from Ninja Tune. This time, they're tracks from label honchos Coldcut which will not be released until early 1999. Check out these tracks which are only available at CDuctive. They feature star-studded appearances by Japanese hipster Cornelius, Detroit legend Carl Craig, and the one and only Grandmaster Flash!

** More Dance/Electronic Tracks -- Hundreds of new tracks from Blue Room, Matsuri Productions, Dubmission, Universal Language, Healing Arts, Kingsize, Polyrhythmic Productions, Ultra Records, SFP/Manga Beat/Filtered, and more!

** Label of the Month - TOMBSTONE RECORDS
Tombstone Records was established with the first 7" release by Dead Moon in 1988. Dead Moon, a power trio from Portland, Oregon has been recording and going strong with their original line-up of Fred Cole (Guitar & Vocals), Tooty (Bass & Vocals) and Andrew Loomis (Drums) since 1988. Fred Cole has been writing and performing since the late 60's, so Dead Moon's style encompasses the past through the present with bits of psychedelic, R&B, punk, and alternative in their sound with some love ballads thrown in for good measure. Tombstone remains a vinyl only label with all releases being mastered in mono on a 1954 Presto cutting lathe by Fred Cole personally. Dead Moon could be one of the greatest bands the USA has produced. It's an honor to have Tombstone / Dead Moon aboard CDuctive. Every one of their songs is a treasure.

** More Indie Rock Tracks -- Hundreds of new tracks from Which? Records, Cavity Search Records, Asian Man Records, Jetset, Tim/Kerr, and more!
