"When new technology leads to lawsuits to prevent its being marketed and sold,
it raises hopes that something really cool or revolutionary is on the way,"
according to David Simutis of the Houston Press.

I'm usually a very very late-adopter of new gadgets. I still don't have a VCR
for example. But in this case, I am getting very excited about bypassing "brick
and mortar music stores or even ordering on line" and accessing MP3 files and
songs on demand. Ours (AJ) is largely an underground and inde-sound and legal
MP3 sites have greatly expanded our consumer choices, immediate availability,
and convenience. What more could a music lover ask for?
