I for one think Tricky's "frantic fog-pot-hash haze" material is his
best stuff. I love the way his music's gotten darker & more
fucked-up as it's gone along, while still staying funky as hell.

And I think _Maxinquaye_'s aged fairly poorly, w/everyone & their
goddamned dog hopping that bandwagon.

As for his live show, well, can't say I really dug that. He had this
stiff, almost metal rhythm section w/him that completely failed to
get my groove on.
