This weekend I bought a compilation LP from Polydor (This Is Soul nr. 11).
Almost all of them are worth buying because they always contain a few nice
funk cuts. This record was in a very bad condition but there were two songs
that I had never heard of. Specially the song from the Devils called
'X-corsist' was a great. It's a hard funk cut written by J.Brown, D.
Matthews, D. Both (Dynatone Publishing). Is this a James Brown cut? Any
info (which album?) about this song greatly appreciated.
