As admin of the list, I feel I have to say something on this matter.
I agree, there is a difference between chain letters and forwards with
(some) content. However, this is an *acidjazz* mailing list. There are
thousands of good causes out there that needs attention, but this is
not the place.
We should limit ourselfs to music here. Many list members pay for
their Internet connection and have joined this acidjazz list to hear
only about this genre (not to vote on newsgroups or to tell AOL what
their policy should be, etc).
Also, one should also be aware that most of the chain letters and
"good cause" letters are fake.
