just stumbled across a website that'd be of interest to aj-ers.
http://www.beatthief.com has got some good, if short, articles on
gillespie, m.davis, dr. octagon, and qbert (make sure to pull down the
james brown quicktime sample). actually cruize around the whole site, its
good stuff, and check out the web design article; i couldn't help but snort.
(am i the only one who thought krs-one's freestyle skills aren't all that
on "digital"? ;)
