I for myself got a GMR 4-channel mixer. It's an italian product and
probably hard to find but the quality is excellent, especially the
faders and the connectors. No transform buttons and no fader for the
headphones, just a knob. But i think that's just a matter of getting
used to it.

I had a rather cheap Gemini before and didn't like it at all. The
faders are very hard to move and tend to 'snap, crackle and pop' after
a while. Once the signal of one channel completely disappeared. I
always had to bang the damn thing on the table to get the signal
back...

Don't know if the more expensive Geminis are better and I haven't seen
a Vestax yet, sorry.

Hello all. I have some reviews and a question. I am looking to invest
in a new mixer. Possibly up to $500. Is there anything out there that
anyone feels strongly about? My prerequisites seem to be a fader for
the headphones, transform buttons would be nice... I heard there were
mixers that could drop the bass/mid/treble out completely. I was
leaning towards Vestax. Pleeeese help!
