McCoy Tyner definitely got down, but all the stuff I've heard
leans towards straight ahead jazz.

Check out Trident for some good grooves tho, and
a dope bass solo by Ron Carter which was sampled by
Black Sheep for The Choice is Yours

I bought one very undanceble Mcoy tyner record made in the late
seventies. Did he ever get down? Please give overview with eye to
beats or at least drumless passages that can be laid over beats.
