In the mix on The BOX, Houston, TX

Reps from KBXX 97.9, The Box (top-rated commercial urban station), popped into The Swank Lounge on Thursday where I spin weekly and asked that I prep a mix of stuff that I was spinning that night.  I could determine my own playlist but it had to be along the lines of what I do on Thursdays @ The Swank in Houston so I couldn't pop too many instrumentals into the mix (and no drum & bass or house).

I will be on from 1:45 AM (3/16) till 2:30 AM (Central US Time) so those across the Atlantic could possible check it out @ http://www.kbxx.com  . Word is that they have a live feed form the mixing studio when the djs are mixing live (not sure if that will be so @ 1:45 AM on a Sun/Mon).

I'm hoping to open some minds on a station where Master P's "Make 'Em Say Uhhhhh" is the number 1 song.  The show I'll be on is called "Illegal Flavors" with DJ Illegal and the premise is to present underground flavors.  Depending on the reaction I might be back on a monthly basis.
