hey ya'll check out this news. on www.mylaunch.com

(3/9/98) - When last seen, Asbury Park, New Jersey native Danny DeVito was
cavorting onstage at the Grammys with Puff Daddy. Apparently, it wasn't
all hype.

MCA Records has teamed with DeVito's Jersey Records, the year-old music
division of Jersey Films, in a long-term distribution agreement that
includes the release of major soundtracks and recording artists.

The initial release on the new Jersey-MCA imprint will be the soundtrack
from the upcoming Paramount-Miramax romantic comedy Sliding Doors, which
stars Gwyneth Paltrow. The album, which is set for an April 14th release,
features songs by Aqua,
Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai and Space Monkeys.

Jersey Records is the label division of Jersey Films, the production
company headed by DeVito, Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher.

As for DeVito's qualifications to head a record company--well, you'll
recall he also jammed at the end of January with Bruce Springsteen,
Southside Johnny and Jon Bon Jovi at a New Jersey benefit.

Coloring opens a window to the soul.
