true story--i was the production manager on a sampledelic group's album, and
one track was of the ambient noise around the burial place of an historical
figure. we actually had a meeting with the lawyers to go through all the
samples, and someone pipes up that "30 seconds of silence can be considered
a sample of john cage's "4:33"--maybe we should clear it"

we didn't....
