To be honest, after years of whatching the publicity driven engines of
rock bands, one of the most effective way of gaining attention is
through "any" form of gossip. I thing Massive Attack is enjoying the
persona of having "rifts" between its members. The answer to their
relationship is their close roots from their early days in Bristol.

They did record in the studio together for large parts of Mezzanine.
Their guest vocalists totally got into the project...
The proof is in the output; which, is an awesome piece of work!
