Stuff that I've picked up in the last couple of weeks:

Mica Paris/Contribution - release from early 90s - I pursued this one
because of a track I enjoy on a comp...one of the Rebirth series I
think...she has a great voice but the disc is poorly produced and very pop
oriented.

Unkle/Psyence Fiction: I'm not going there........

Courtney Pine/Underground - I bought this because I previously purchased a
remix disc called Other Stories (very soulful ...highly recommend
it!)...Underground, although touted as a meld of hiphop/jazz/soul (one track
w/Jehlisa), a large portion is straight up jazz.

Money Mark/Push The Button...I like Money Mark...but his vocals suck ( I
suspect a previous incarnation as a Beach Boy)...his first disc Mark's
Keyboard Repair (minimalistic funk) is a must!

Maxwell/Embrya ...more of the same...no complaints!

Jestofunk/Remixes...some soundz like Maceo, some soundz like NuYorican
Soul..really funky!

Akasha/Cinematique : another great disc..jazzy/funky downtempo beatz with
some vocals..I find one track somewhat strange (#4) that starts of sounding
very d'n'b-ish but midstream hits you with this grunge guitar stuff..vocals
by Nenah Cherry (do you know this person?)...regardless, I recommend this
disc.

Peace,
Mitch
