t-bird vs. fat & jazzy

hey folks,
contrary to my outgoing msg. on my voicemail, i'm no longer down w/the fat &
jazzy crew. we had a parting of the ways regarding what i should be playing.
i'm really over having to prove to promoters that you can get a dancefloor
rocking w/o playing funk-disco-house *or* hits (i.e. obvious stuff). it can
be done, it *has* been done numerous times--get with it!!
truth be told, the people that wanted the proof have only heard me play 2x.
unfortunately, their partners that could show them the score (along w/not
backing me up) owe me money!!
oh well, i'll have to move on to better gigs...
speaking of... i may be doing a guest spot at the room hollywood on sunday,
i'll keep you posted on that.
