Freestyers-We RockHard

True breakbeat comeback for the Old Skool Flavour. Their breaks are as good
as they can get-without sounding kitchy like Norman Cooks latest offerings.
If you have heard DJ Punk Roc then this is what thay are according to classy
compositions and party rockin' potential. I don't like Skint, so I have that
bias towards anything from Freskonova label.

Wall of Sound

Avoid Mekon and Les Rhythmes Digital albums. They are weak compared to their
singles. Les Rhythm 10"album is a bit "too" ambient and his latest singles
aim more 80's electronic-kitch. You either love them to put him on your No.1
playlist or you avoid like shit on the pavement. That has been the response
for me and for the Dj's in Hong Kong that play breaks. Mekon loses the vibe
of his singles and his scrsatching is too outdated. Check out ANYTHING from
"The WiseGuyz" Dope breaks and cool NY rapper Sense Live but with a UK sound.
Their 1st LP is brilliant and about to release 2nd LP.It would be one of my
all time fav break/hip hop albums. Classic!
