The Freestylers are awesome. I recently purchased _We Rock Hard_ as an
import.
Unfortunately, the Freestylers label, Freskanova, doesn't have a domestic
distribution deal, meaning you have to pay big prices as imports. The
album is
basically compilation of 12" single releases. The album is full of
hip-hop, breaks,
electro, and reggae. I highly recommend it. Both Skint and Freskanova are
both considered break-beat labels, so they are comparable. Unlike
Freskanova,
Skint is readily available here in the states, as they have a distribution
deal with
both Astralwerks and Sony. FYI, Fatboy Slim should be releasing an album
very
soon. Haven't heard anything from Monkey Mafia, but I did hear track off of
Les Rhythme Digtale newest album, whose title I forget ("Hey you, what's that
sound"?).
