Wow it's funny how this thread has trailed.
The song in question is indeed by the Fugees and it's called 'Nappy Heads',
it was their first big hit (though not nearly as big as their later stuff)
and was off their album 'blunted on reality'.
But that song, though it references Mona Lisa, has no reference to the
lyrics in question in the original email.

but this song was before wyclef made it big by himself, and around when the
fugees were out with nappy heads...but it is not a fugees track.
