Yea, expecting to hear something a bit different sums up my experience with
Britt as well... recently that is. He's moved in some different directions
(as a dj) since i first checked him out. However, he definitely knows his
shit inside and out and i've found that a lot of my tastes developed from
listening to him (i must have spent the past 3 years tracking down the
tracks i recorded off his radio show "Full Circle"). As far as Djing, i've
seen he and Dozia rock it many a time at Back to Basics where he definitely
saved my life new years eve 96'! Anyway, i do echo the feelings about some
of his remix work. The Ursula Rucker track was a bit monotonous and the
other Britt remix i was dissapointed with was the remix he did for Karma.
Same type thing and didn't really go anywhere. His Sylk 130 shit is classic
though...
