I also remember a nice mod/modernist/acid jazz music family tree from a UK
mag several years back. Showed the movement and progression of certain
groups (BNH, Young Disciples, Galliano) and their members. Not sure, but I
think it was The Face and had Madonna on the cover.

And then a hip hop mag did one of the hip hop collectives - Native Tonges,
Hieroglyphics, Diggin In the Crates, etc.

Sorry for the incomplete answers, but I like this sort of thing too. Maybe
some others can fill in the blanks. Peace!
