P.S. 1: Rotterdam - New York
The Project Hotel New York

Dutch artist Jeanne van Heeswijk has conceived a project
to create a cultural Holland Amerika Lijn.
P.S. 1 studio S205 has been transformed into a hotel room
imitating the original rooms of Hotel New York Rotterdam.
Like them, the Willem de Kooning room is designed
to echo the history of travel and migration
and thus offers an interesting context for artists
to make and present artworks, challenging them to address
the problematics of contemporary migration.

The room serves as a working/living/showing space
for (Rotterdam) artists, writers, architects and musicians.

Today at Soundlab's Abstrakt Future Lounge in Fahrenheit
special guests ( I think ) are the same as the Rotterdam artists,
DE DAMAGE CREW, DJ MARKY MARK and DJ MACE.
Fahrenheit is at 349 Broadway, entrance on Leonard Street.

Excited about my Poetry Project class tonight
where I'll learn everything and nothing about
muck-expressionism, cubism, futurism, suprematism,
dadaism, gertrudism, surrealism, swingmatism, lettrism,
beatism, projectivitis, situationism, newyorkscholastism,
spicerism, oulipism, coolidgism, bernadettism, etceterism,
Yvonne.

"Every breath is experimental."

  Her crop was a miscellany
When all was said and done,
  A little bit of everything,
        A great deal of none.
