After eighteen successful months presenting Kiss 100 FM's flagship Sunday
evening show, The Dreem Teem have announced their decision to leave the
station to take up residency as the new presenters of a nationally
syndicated Friday evening slot for Galaxy FM.

The new show will run from 9:00 - 11:00 pm each Friday across the entire
Galaxy Network. The Teem's label boss Tony Portelli issued this statement
regarding their departure from Kiss 100 FM:

'Our association with a station as pioneering as Kiss 100 FM has been an
extremely successful and happy one, but I feel it is crucial for The Dreem
Teem as ambassadors of the UK Garage movement to have a national radio
profile. Our new Friday show broadcasting across the entire Galaxy Network
represents an exciting opportunity for us to advance British Garage and meet
the needs of young music lovers throughout the UK'

With The Dreem Teem's national chart success and that of their peers Da
Click, Doolally, and now Shanks and Bigfoot, UK Garage has finally broken
free from the long held view that it was merely a London based sound, and
Galaxy's signing of The Dreem Teem will have a far reaching impact on one of
the UK's most original music genres.
