I'm very disappointed in you guys. To me, vinyl is by far superior in every
aspect, except that it isn't portable. But sound quality, watching the
record spin, and the overall "fun" of playing records is unmatched.

When I'm making a beat/song, I am careful to leave in artifacts from the
original record to avoid the "clean" sound that CDs generally have. Just
for grins, find the same song on CD and vinyl and listen to how the bass
sounds. You can't deny that the bass is much for full and beautiful on wax.

CDs are good if you cannot get the product on vinyl, or if you are dubbing
music. I never buy blank tapes, only blank CDs. Now I just have to save up
about 20k so I can press my own wax.
