Its a matter of the economics of use. Here in Turkey they sell casettes
of non-Turkish music for $5-6 while a foreign CD goes for $17. Big
difference.

I buy cassettes of stuff I haven't heard of or know the label that well.
I wouldn't play a cassette as a DJ of course but it has other uses.

For example, I bought an older REACT mixtape in the ARTCORE series that
I've been playing endlessly in the car. Wouldn't have plunked down down
the $30 for the double CD.
