a quick question for those in the know concerning technics turntables - a
few months ago i picked up a technics 1400slmk2 for a supergood price,
considering it has the same motor,etc. as the infamous 1200. problem is that
it only has a 3gram counterweight which makes scratching a bit of a
challenge. so - i was wondering if anyone knew any possible ill-effects that
could result frommy replacing it with a 5gram weight from the 1200 series,
and if it seems like a good solution to my problem.
