Incidentally, who's on this one...I hadn't even heard this was out yet, any
more info on that front? Thanks!

A recommendation - picked up Sven Van Hees' new LP "Gemini" yesterday, it's
on NEWS out of Belgium (www.news.be). He did a track called "Tabla Rasa" on
one of the earlier Future Sound of Jazz comps., maybe Vol. 2? Anyway, the
album is excellent, kind of like Air/Gentle People meets Jazzanova. It has
the whole live instrumentation thing going on with this ethereal sound that
I always associate with Air and the Gentle People. There are some bits
where it veers dangerously close to wanky sax territory (what is it with bad
sax on acid jazz records?) but aside from that there are a few great tracks
on here. I'm digging it at the moment, and I don't buy much acid jazz/trip
hop at all these days - anyone know if he's done anything else aside from
the Future Sound of Jazz track and this LP? - Brock

PS - Anyone on here into Buscemi at all? Hadn't ever seen his name come up
on the list and "Mocha Supremo" is one of my top trip-hop/acid-jazz LP's
ever. He's got a few singles out as well that are dope. On Downsall, also
from Belgium...
