Cookin is drum & bass label Looking Good's (or is it Good Looking?) new
downtempo spin off label featuring tripped downbeat cuts by drum & bass
people. Some labels just let their artists do what they do,mixing drum &
bass and downtempo on the same record (check out the last Grand Unified 12"
or the King Kooba album both on Second Skin for records that mix downbeat
and d&b), but Cookin is a label devoted just to downbeat tracks by drum &
bass bands/groups. It's a nice record--did you buy the little 10" box set
or the CD? Cookin' is dist by Studio K7 here in the States so the CD should
be easy to get at the local Tower or Virgin.

Just make sure any of your drum & bass friends don't pick it up by mistake
when they see who's on it--they probably won't like it:>.
