This week’s new release list is now posted. Tons of great new records this
week.

The highlights this week are:

Nu Skool Breaks: the new Hardwire album on Kingsize, advance copies of the
new TCR single by Uptown Connection, some copies of the excellent “Hip Hop
Phenomenon” by BT & Tsunami One, a couple nice breakbeat white labels and a
new compilation from Marble Bar (home of Bronx Dogs and Ninebar).

Acid Jazz/Trip Hop: the new Bembe Seque single on Main Squeeze produced by 4
Hero’s Dego and IG Culture, a new Blue States 12” on Memphis, France’s Chris
Joss drops a killer “Indian Vibes” style track on Pulp Flavor, the new Fila
Brazilia CD out on their own imprint, new Karma album “Thrillseekers” (LP
only this week, CD in a week or two), Howie B’s Daddylonglegs album now in
on CD, a new Rockers Hi-Fi 12”, and a kick ass trip hop single from Cali’s
Mekanic label.

House: Derrick Carter’s remix of 2 Banks of 4, new disco house singles from
Norway’s Moola, the much hyped Dreem Teem remix of Neneh Cherry’s “Buddy X”,
very cool mix double CD called “Defcom 1” and a new single from DJ Leo Young
and DJ Vincenzini.
