Just wanted to introduce myself to the list... I'm a Hammond B-3 Player from
Philly.
I like to call what I do soul or groove Jazz - - call it what you want. I
like players like Leon Spencer, Reuben Wilson, Charles Earland, Big John
Patton, Larry Goldings - - and stuff like Jersey Kings, etc. I dabble on
an old Fender Rhodes, but I'm really a B-3 player - - I kick bass etc.
Anyhooo, Acid Jazz never really hit hard in Philly, so few people around here
fully understand the groove thing - - atleast not enough to warrent lugging
out a 450 pound console for !
If there's any musicians out there ever interested in jamming or collabing
or into the B-3 thing... drop me a line.
