This was very nice. As a compare/contrast/laugh/cry,
take a look at this polemic against jazz written by
the national Music Chair"man" of the General
Federation of Women's Clubs, and published in the
Ladies' Home Journal in 1921. The article is called
"Does Jazz Put the Sin in Syncopation?"
