    sunday afternoon story:

was in my local record shop/cafe aka Halcyon in b'klyn on sunday and
there was a dj spinning some very eclectic and good musics. His name is
Palotai and he even threw a Turok throat singing song into the set.

With the dj was another guy talking with the owners of the store,
pointing to cd's and saying "yeah we released that and oh' this is good"
and so on and hey check out this CDR...

This sparked my curiosity and so when he pulled out a Yonderboi 12" I
thought hey these guys are from Mole records. So I said to the talker (
not the deejay) "I've heard good things about the Mole stuff, where can I
get it in the states?" and he says " how'd you hear of Mole and I'm from
the Hungary arm of Mole." Responding I say "I am on the A-J list and we
get these weekly news letters from Keyser & Shuriken, which are cool and
spread the word on what's happenin over there."

Well to the point the guy says that Shuriken wrote the liner notes for
Palotai's CD and he say's Keyser & Shuriken are way cool and anyway been
loving the tips from the newsletter and it cool to see what a global thing
    this music thing is.

Unfortunately he didn't have any info on US distribution, but maybe it
will come soon, might be something Groovedis could hook up. So if they do,
check out the DJ Palotai mix cd. the website is www.mole.de lots of real
    audio of good music.

    rambling on
    J
