Hey all; maybe I'm just a wanker, but "rules" for dj's and producers? Kind
of reminds me of a 16 year old tenor player talking to his teacher; "And
what notes can I play over a major 7th chord?"

The truth is, there ARE no rules for dj-ing and production, except 1.

    Make it sound good.

Oh yeah, and I forgot the other rule. Never use a sample in its original
BPM, or, if it's a pitched sample (from a guitar or whatnot), make sure you
don't use it in the original key.

    (jus' kiddin.)
