    Paris Mack the Black Fu (Detroit) & Monochrome (Columbus, Ohio) & Moonstarr (Toronto)
    Saturday August 12 @ Lee's Palace - TORONTO

    Public Transit Recordings presents... Three The Hard Way.  Three bad brothers - Monochrome, Paris Mack the BLACK FU, and Toronto’s own Moonstarr will join forces to perform LIVE against all odds. The infamous trio take on the roles of Blaxploitation hero's Jim Brown, Fred Williamson and Jim Kelly to save the day once again from the evil villians who would dare poison the city's water supply and wreck havoc on a unsuspecting populace.

    Moonstarr, representing Toronto, will break out his arsenal of tight DJ and musical skills.  Dubbed "boy-genius" and "explorer of new sounds” by critics, Moonstarr’s music has been turning heads and snapping necks for years.  His live show will be a fusion of broken beats with futurist electro bossa nova.  A selection of the tunes played LIVE will be released on his new forthcoming album Dupont.

    Monochome, of Columbus’ 21/22 Corporation, is the second striker of Three The Hard Way.
    Under the alias "Archetype" on his recent EP, Black Nation’s Myths and Rituals, he injects
    furious African beats and Dancehall rhythms into tight techno.  As Monochome his attack of atari computer bleeps and deep hip hop beats over drum n base will leave the crowd in sweat. This will be a rare live set from the Ohio native not to be missed

    Enter Paris Mac the Black FU of the Detroit Grand Pubahs (Jive Electro, Throw records
    Detroit). Now travelling internationally for his world renowned track "Sandwiches" he will stop by Toronto to lend a hand on the mic and on the decks to his longtime partners in mischief (Moonstarr, Cooper and Monochrome). Guaranteed to be as outrageous as his performance at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival Paris is ready to eat up the mic and represent Detroit on this infamous summer tour in Toronto.

    Three the Hardway performers will have serious backup DJs as well. Audix and  Frankie Gunns will be coming with the audio ammunition. Plus Dave Cooper of Roundtable and Todd Sines will smooth over the crowd.

    Plus Conceptual sights will be provided by the one and only Ocular Nutrition Visual crew. Their sights will capture the essence of Three The Hardway through film and photo stills.
