I've got to say that anyone who hopes every record will be the next
"Innervisions" is going to spend a lot of time disappointed.

"Voodoo" certainly ain't it. But it is pretty damn good regardless, and
there's definitely a few tracks on there (Send It On, The Root, Spanish
Joint, Africa) that set it _well_ above most of the crowd.

PS: Voodoo runs to 78 minutes. That's twice the length of "Innervisions",
"Extension Of A Man" or any of those 70s classics. I'm not sure that if you
just did the comparison with the best 40 minutes of "Voodoo" or other recent
albums they would stack up that much better - but it would certainly be a
    more valid comparison.

    ..Mark..
