This week’s list is now posted on our website (http://www.groovedis.com).
Another big week with lots of hot titles coming in, along with restocks on
some items that we’ve been out of for awhile. All the titles from Visit
Venus and Pepe Deluxe (two of our favorite groups) are finally back in
stock. Also this week we have the latest issues of DJ Magazine and Jockey
Slut Magazine (now monthly) and they both come with free CDs!

Look out for our first ever CD Sampler coming in March. Set for release at
the Winter Music Conference (Mar 25) this free compilation CD will feature a
mix of trip hop, drum & bass and house not house. Confirmed tracks by Hefner
(a brand new song!), Sternklang, London Elektricity, Teebee & K, DJ Stix,
Jeep Beat, and something brand new from People Records. If you don’t make it
down to Miami don’t worry we’ll be distributing these CDs nationwide via the
stores we work with as well as giving them out to all our mail order
    customers (V.I.P.s and non-V.I.P.s alike).

Coordinating the CD Sampler project is our new Promotions & Marketing
Manager, Troy Turner. Troy’s other project right now is setting up a promo
mail out service for some of the labels we deal with. If you’re a deejay or
a writer and feel you should be serviced with promos, please send your
details to Troy via email (no calls!) at troy@groovedis.com . Please include
information about where and when you spin or what magazines, websites, etc.
you write for. Deejays should include a sample playlist (or two), writers
should include a sample article or review that has been recently published.
