Thought you might like this idea...

PUBLIC MUSIC vs. CORPERATE POWER AND BANALITY

    Calling Everyone:
Start Gathering Instruments. Toy trumpets, old headphones, broken walkmans, kleenex boxes with rubberbands, 45's.... Anything.

The night of SEPTEMBER 17th is a night to bomb your city with musical creativity. Using epoxy, signs, and whatever else you deem musically worthy.

The point of this is to show those around us that not everything can be sold, and that music saves lives (it has saved ours countless times.) This is a great way to recyle old tapes, an outlet to rant creatively, and a great thing to do for yourself.

The plan: Sunday night September 17th please tack/staple/glue or create instruments anywhere in your city. Packages of signs and some instruments will be passed out by word of mouth and can be copied.
Imagine a thousand plastic trumpets covering the financial district; broken speakers and a huge "JUST LISTEN" sign on a street corner.

Our music communities are a bright light in out lives. Lets shine that light. Or fuck up sterile lifestyles. You choose. More info and reminders weekly.

Please do not deface organic substances (i.e. trees, birds) and respect deserving private property.

Please forward this message and keep it on the DL (no federales please.)

    Peace and Happy Hunting!
