    Hi jazzy folkz !!!!
All this hype on the drum'n'bass dj Marky makes some people in general go
    throw into eletronic music.
We get a label called Trama and they are starting to release some new
artists like Otto, XRLS Land and Ram Science.
We have a quite good eletronic scene. But the problem is everthing happen
because the fashion. Nowadays drum'n'bass is very very strong here. Some
years ago was techno. but nothing survive too much time.
Unfortunately jazzy things are hard to the people understand it
here. Nobody have any idea about names like Giles peterson, jazzanova,
patrick Forge, Ninja Tune, Yellow productions, Truby Trio, Norman Jay, Phil
Asher and others. i feeling some small changes and i think in the future
the brazilian public will get this vibe not now.
i know that we got a lot of good old material here like bossa, samba and
regional sounds. But our music market is just turn on to commercial and
bullshit groups that the dancers like to show their asses on TV.
For example: the Azymuth, Joyce and Marcos Valle's albums from Far out
Records and Suba and Bebel Gilberto from Ziriguidoom didn't release here.
The people have no idea about this.

    Sorry for my bad english....

    tahira.
