Seems to me that filter house is basically recycled, sometimes new
disco with lots of "filtered" studio sound effects added, such as
crossfading tricks and echoes to give it a more 90's feel. It's ear
candy - but can be pretty tasty in small doses. I've heard Roy Davis Jr.
throw some filter tracks in a set and it was d-eeee-licious.

            Examples:
-"I Feel Good Things For You" by Daddy's Favourite (samples Patrice
    Rushen's "Haven't you Heard")
-"September 99" by Earth Wind & Fire (Phats & Small Remix)
-"I'll Be There" by Sunburst Band (track 10 from Dimitri From Paris' A
    Night at the Playboy Mansion)

    enjoy,
    B.
