Saw, Blackalicious last night in Santa Cruz, quite a show, Lateef
showed up along with a vocalist/singer, and one other MC,
'Visionary-something'. Pretty amazing, everybody sang along to the
chorus to 'Deception', and lots of freestyle from all three MC's.
But, definitely the highlight was 'Alphabet Aerobics, which they
ended with, I can't believe that he can flow that fast, he even did
that speed during some of the freestyles. It was definitely a good
crowd who were feeling the vibe of the group--but, had to get up
early on Sunday so left before Del tha Funky Homosapien came
out--Blood of Abraham opened, had a full crew: drums, bass, guitar,
and turntable MPC3000, and the two MCs. They had some really funky
stuff, and some had a bit too much grinding guitar for my taste.

n.p. DJ Krush "Code4109" some good groovin' downtempo/hip-hop. Also
got Kid Loco's DJ-KiCKS that is even deeper.
