the thing that really annoys me is when there is a
whole thread w/o a subject line!! maybe it's my email
(yahoo), but i'm getting this whole thread w/no
subject or sender...
more on topic, the point of putting the location of
gigs etc. in the subject line (which i do quite a bit,
thank you) is so you can quickly tell if you're not
interested!!
part of the reason for this list is so people
worldwide can keep up with what's going on all over.
let's say that an artist i like from halfway round the
world is gigging regularly in a place 3000 miles from
me, obviously, i'm not going to the gig, but maybe i
suggest to a promoter in my town that this artist is
playing on our side of the world, and might be into
playing our fair city... just one benefit of knowing
what's going on where you're *not* living.
