I has been wondering what Brigitte McWilliams was up to - I know there were a few people round here who were feeling her "Too Much Woman" LP a couple of years back.

Anyway, I asked on Soul 24-7, and they put me in touch with the Steve Harvey, who produced it. Here's what he said (not good news, I'm afraid...)

Hi Mark Brian Hurst passed on your info -
sorry to report that Brigette has not recorded anything since the last album
- we tried to get her back in the studio several times, but unfortuneatly we
never managed to finish anything - Its hard for artists to keep going
sometimes
when you invest yourself into making an album and it gets critical acclaim
and you feel like your finally getting somewhere, then the short sighted non
musical geeks running the record label pull the rug from under you - and
suddenly three years of effort goes down the drain - you ask is it worth it
...in Brigette's case she is now designing and doing well in the fashion
industry - I dont know if she's gonna get back in the studio anytime soon
I shall pass on to her that she has still people who care if she makes
another album and maybe it may inspire her to give it another shot - in the
meantime check out my web site Musicyard.com
for future info regarding Brigette ( also in the next couple of weeks I
may throw some un released Brigette mixes on the sounds page )and maybe
you'll find some other FREE cool downlaodable MP3's on there you may dig -I
am still trying to work with quality artists like Brigette ...there is a lot
of talent out in the U.S. trying to do something diffferent - Thanks for your
positive vibes and support ...its much appreciated - we will try to keep
bringing the real music to you - peace Steve

Oh well...
