Just wanted to ask for some details about the "This is Jazz Stepping" thing. Sounds pretty good, but could you tell me the label name and may be some artists names also.
By the way, speaking about Totally Wired Series, i have only few of those and love them. Are they all that good? Are they in stock somewhere, cos i can't find them in my local stores?

          Peace,
          Ilya

    > 1)This Is Jazz Steppin'- PURE Acid-Jazz, much in the same vein as the "Cookin'" series on Ubiquity or the "Wired" series on the Acid Jazz Label. I am totally loving this!

    > 2) Hadji & LMO- Indian Style- Totally wicked electronic music with TONS of great indian sounds. Those of you who bought the "Bombay The Hard Way" Bollywood comp on Motel Records will recognize some of the samples. The best part of this cd is that it cost me only $5.99 Canadian brand new!! That's like $4.00 US. It's out on Wikkid records and well worth the pennies you'll pay for it. Check out their site at www.wikkidrecords.com

    > 3) Thievery Corporation: The Mirror Conspiracy- I haven't listened to this one thoroughly yet, but it sounds pretty sweet. Pretty organic sounding. I don't know if this is happening elsewhere, but my copy came with another cd comp called "Breakdown", featuring, among others, The Breeders, Kristen Hersh, Cocteau Twins, Michael Brooks, and The Pixies. Hey, 2 for 1 is alright by me!

    > 4) Underworld- Underworld Live: Everything, Everything- I picked this one up cos every review I've read on it has been extremely positive, but after having gone thru the first four songs, it's not doing much for me. I dunno, maybe it's just not my bag, or it'll grow on me or something.....

    > 5) The Herbaliser Band- Session One- This one's been out for awhile, and I never bothered with it cos I'm not the biggest fan of The Herbaliser band. But, at the insistence of a staff guy at one of the record stores I check out regularly, I gave it a try. AWESOME!!!! Any fan of Blaxploitation/Funk/ Greyboy Allstars- type AJ will totally dig this sheet!! Kinda on the short side at about 36 minutes, but a mighty tasty platter.
