Keyser & Shuriken - newsletter #53: Do you sleep properly?

    Newsflash 06.04.2001

    Dear friends,

As we promised we haven't waited another week and a half with our freshest
newsletter, so this time you have some chance to listen to our show if you liked the
playlist. We hope you will... Thanks to all the labels who loved us this week and
    sent tons of dope tunes!

This week read some words from a "lovely" man. Respect!

"RBMA: Do you think that vinyl has got a future?
Tim: Definitely. It's never going to go away, it's still the most important thing for
me. I spend a lot more money on the vinyl releases than I do on the CD releases and I
spend a lot more time mastering them. You actually lose money doing vinyl but that's
really where the joy is for so many people.

RBMA: Does the extra money spent making vinyl go on better pressing?
Tim: They are just expensive to make. The maximum we can charge for them is less than
it costs us to make them. But you know I wouldn't be able to sleep properly if I
    hadn't done the vinyl."

Tummy Touch boss Tim Love Lee discusses the roots and subsequent rise of his label,
his eclectic love of all music and why pot smoking is not advised if you want to get
    anything done.

Read the whole article on http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com.

Keep on sleeping properly till next week (but first, do the vinyl!).
