Maybe we can get a reggae thread going too

    Semper RastaFari!!!

as I'm just starting to get into reggae recently.

I was first exposed to Reggae back in the mid 70's when Eric Clapton re-did
the classic "I shot the Sheriff" by Bob Marley. That lead me to Bob Marley,
which lead me to Peter Tosh, then to Greggory Issacs, then to Third World,
then to Ska, then to Eddy Grant, then to Maxy Priest( the younger Brother of
Judas Priest), then to J.C. Lodge, Marcus Miller, Sly and Robbie, Bill
Laswell, Shabba Ranks, Shaggy and the list goes on and on.

I've been completely shocked by some of the reggae I've been hearing.

I like the Bob Marley Tribute that came out a while back that featured
Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith doing a take on Marley's "Roots,
    Rock, Reggae".

I mean damn! This is some good shit!

    Absolutemente!!!!
A couple artists I'm blown away by right now are Alpha Omega (not dnb) and
    Scientist.

I like the Smith and Mighty stuff myself. I'll have to checkout these you
mentioned above. Also the Thievery Corporation has some awesome Reggae
inflections. I also like Les Nubians take on Sade's "Sweetest Taboo"

SCHpeakin' of Sade, Damn she is beautiful and I love her music!!! Happy
    Trails!!!

    Semper "Skankin'" Motociclismo,

    Pace'
