I've been on slight RnB kick recently as well. Actually
pretty much ever since Erykah Badu's first album, but it's
been getting worse (better?) since the Jill Scott record.
I've been listening a little bit to both the India.Arie
record and the Sunshine Anderson record recently.
Personally, I like the Sunshine Anderson record better.
Don't get me wrong, the India.Arie record is good as well,
and the Video track is excellent. But like I said, I
prefer the Sunshine Anderson disc. The production's a
little slicker, and Anderson's voice is just gorgeous, in a
    subtle kind of way.

Here's a snippet of what I wrote for a local rag...

As with most good RnB, the songs on Your Woman deal with
matters of the heart and tell the stories of this North
Carolinian as she breaks up with a lover, recovers, and
falls again in love. The album's standout track and lead
single, "Heard it All Before" features Anderson's
distinctive voice over a thumpin' rhythm and way-wah
guitars. Thankfully devoid of the self-indulgent wailing
which ails many of RnB's current so-called Divas (Whitney,
Mariah, Christina), Anderson's voice is silky smooth and
intimate, reminiscent of early Mary J. Blige. While Your
Woman isn't a landmark album, it is a wonderful debut from
an artist whom we'll hopefully hear more of in the future.
